T4A preparation

As of tax year 2024,

Transmitter number is no longer a requirement for generating and filing T4 XMLs. 

New Requirements

1. 1. Transmitter account number 
   2. Representative Identifier

Can enter 1 of the 2 fields OR both. 

• • Transmitter CRA Account Number
    • Required up to 15 alphanumeric (if signed in using My business account (MyBA) or Web access code (WAC))

• • Transmitter RepID (Representative Identifier)
    • Required (if logged in using Represent a client (RAC) application)
