Click the New Deal button on the deal menu
Enter Property information
- Save & Close Property
- Note: If there is no property - close Property form without saving
Enter the following Deal information:
Deal Tab: (you can enter more information if you have it)
- Role = Referral (List or Sell)
- Sale Price = $0 or actual sale price
- Sale Date = Known Sale date or if unknown enter todays date
- Possession Date = Known possession date or if unknown enter todays date
- Save
Contacts Tab:
- If list referral enter agents name in list side agent
- If sell referral enter agents name in sell side agent
- Enter Brokerage where referral is coming from in the opposite side brokerage field
Commission Receivable Tab:
- Reset to Defaults and Choose custom
- If List referral put Flat Commission amount before tax on the list side Plus flat amount field.
- If Sell referral put Flat Commission amount before tax on the sell side Plus flat amount field.
- Save
Commission Payable Tab:
- Reset to Defaults
- Agent should auto populate with the commission amount
- Save
Scan & Attach documents
Save & Close Deal
If you have the payment cheque when you are entering the Referral deal then follow these steps
Receive Payment(from the Actions Menu within the deal)
- Deal Contract = Name on Cheque (Select this contact from the drop down list in the field)
- Fund = Commission (should default correctly)
- Date = Today's Date (date you are depositing the cheque)
- Reference - Cheque Number
- Amount = should default correctly (if not, change the commission amount or Tax amount on the Commissions Receivable Tab)
