How to Record Interest and Close a Term Deposit

 If the deal is Paying Out or the Deal Collapses and the deposit is in a Term deposit or an Interest bearing account

Open the Deal and Click on the Financials Tab

• Click on the Actions Button at the Top of the Deal Form
  • Select Record Term Deposit Interest
  • Total: Enter the amount of Interest collected
  • Date: The Date the interest will be recorded
  • For: Term Deposit Account
  • Deposit To: Term Deposit Account OR Bank Account
  • Reference: Your Interest Reference #
  • Click Post

• Click on the Actions Button at the Top of the Deal Form
  • Select Transfer From Term Deposit
  • Amount: Enter the amount to be transferred back to the Trust fund
  • Date: The Date of the Transfer
  • From: Term Deposit Account
  • Deposit To: Trust Account
  • Reference: enter your unique reference or leave blank
  • Click Post

• The Deal is now ready to Pay out, or Have the Deposit Refunded.
