How to Transfer a Deal Deposit from 1 Deal to Another

First Deal:

Find Deal – search for address of the deal with the deposit

Refund (from the Action menu within the Deal)

• Actions --> Refund
• Deal Contact = same contact that gave the original deposit
• Payment Method = DEAL TRANSFER
• Date = Date you want to transfer the deposit           
• Amount = amount of the original deposit
• Post Deal Refund

 

 

 

Add a Note to the deal regarding the transfer.

Second Deal:

Find Deal – search for address of the deal the deposit is being transferred to

Receive Deposit (from the Action menu within the Deal)

• Deal Contact = same contact that gave the original deposit
• Fund = Trust
• Date = Date you want to transfer the deposit (same date as above)
• Payment Method = Deal Transfer
• Reference = Transfer from “deal number & address”
• Amount = amount of the original deposit
• Post Deal Deposit

Add a Note to the deal regarding the transfer.
