- Open the Contact of the agent whose incorporated name you would like to change
- Go to the Accounting tab
- Then choose the vendor tab on the accounting tab
- Open the Vendor Account
- Click the overridden name on payments box & type in incorporated name in Name Override.
- Save & Close the Vendor account
- Open the Contact of the agent whose incorporated name you would like to change
- Go to the Accounting tab
- Then choose the customer tab on the accounting tab
- Open the Customer Account
- Click the overridden name on payments box & type in incorporated name in Name Override.
- Save & Close the Customer account
You will need to add a Tax Agency Relationship as well.
- Open Contact --> Relationships.
- Filter = Tax Agencies.
- Click + at the bottom to add new relationship with Receiver General.
- Start Date = Day they became incorporated. Make sure to click is incorporated.
The name on the Commission cheques will now be the NEW corporation name.
