- Download your Bank transactions from your bank and save them as a spreadsheet in a folder on your computer
- Open Deal Manager
- From the Accounting Menu --> Bank Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation Group Finder Form should pop up
- Select an Account i.e. Trust, Commission, or Operating
- Bank Reconciliation Form Should pop up after fund is selected
- Ensure Date is last Statement Date & Statement Balance is entered
- Click on the Actions Button
- Import Statement
- Find your Bank Statement and Click open
- The Top Grid are the Transactions in done in Deal Manager
- The Bottom Grid is the transactions done at the bank that don’t match Deal Manager Transactions
- To Match your adjustments to Deal Manager Transactions
- Filter the Top Grid to Un-reconciled Items
- If there is a Transaction that matches one of the adjustments click the reconciled check box on the top grid and remove it from the bottom grid by using the (-) button at the bottom of the grid
iii. Continue this process until all adjustments are reconciled
- If there is no Deal Manager Transaction to match the Adjustment, Leave the adjustments there until the transaction is done in Deal Manager. Or go back and do the transaction in Deal Manager and refresh the top grid and reconcile the item
- Click the Save Button
- Items will stay reconciled on the top grid until the reconcile button from the Actions menu is clicked. Then all items will disappear.
- Click Reconcile from the Actions menu when you are ready to reconcile the bank and transactions in Deal Manager cannot be altered.
- This process is to be done on your internally assigned Schedule; Daily, Weekly, Monthly
