How to Restrict Agents from Editing Tasks and Conditions

This guide helps you control what users can do with Tasks/Conditions —specifically limiting them to only mark tasks as Completed or Cancelled.

✅ What Users Can Do by Default

• Open a task and click Edit.
• Change the status to:
  • ✅ Completed
  • ❌ Cancelled
• Cannot delete or fully edit the task content.

🔒 How to Restrict Task Completion Options

1. Go to the Setup menu:
   Deals > Deal Manager To Go Setup
2. Click on:
   Entry Fields tab
3. Scroll down to the Deal section.
4. Locate the following options:
   • Allow Task Completion
   • Allow Condition Completion
5. Toggle these options OFF to prevent users from completing or cancelling tasks.
